SUMMARY The Process Development Engineer provides support in equipment and systems testing, prototype manufacturing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES Development and execution of prototype production protocols and programs. * Preventive maintenance and fix equipment for polymer coating. * Research projects including development, design, evaluation of new products. * Troubleshoot coating equipment/system issues. Participate in equipment failure investigation * Support outage and equipment repair efforts REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering * Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems * Comprehensive knowledge of chemistry, preferably organic chemistry * Experience in polymer manufacturing techniques such as blade coating, slot die coating or roll to roll coating * Strong technical, quantitative analysis and process orientation skills * Working knowledge of root cause analysis concepts * Proficient with engineering software * Solid verbal and written communication skills * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills * Fluent in English * Strong attention to detail * Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound engineering principles * Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Life insurance Ability to Commute: * Plano, TX 75074 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Plano, TX 75074: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
