MAINTENANCE MANAGERHotel | Caribbean | On-Site, Single Status PreferredA well-established Caribbean hotel is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of 16-20 across Maintenance and Landscaping. This is a hands-on leadership role for a disciplined, people-focused operator who can build structure, drive accountability, and uphold the operational standards that support a consistently strong guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of 16-20 across maintenance and landscaping operationsBuild and execute a robust preventative maintenance programme across all guest rooms and BOH systemsOversee generators, mechanical and electrical infrastructure, elevators, pool, AC systems, sewage treatment, and sustainability functionsStrengthen supervisors and drive consistent follow-through on operational prioritiesPlan proactively, anticipate issues, and ensure the department runs with minimal disruptionMaintain and advance the hotel's sustainability commitments, including Green Globe or equivalent certificationsEnsure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsCollaborate cross-functionally to support seamless guest and operational outcomesQualifications & ExperienceProven leadership experience in maintenance or facilities management within hotels or resortsStrong technical knowledge of hotel infrastructure: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, elevators, pools, generators, and sewage systemsTrack record of developing teams, raising standards, and building high-performance culturesStructured, organised, and forward-thinking — a proactive planner, not a reactive responderFamiliarity with sustainability frameworks (Green Globe or similar) is a strong advantageCaribbean or island hotel experience preferredClear communicator with the composure and professionalism to hold a team accountableCompensation PackageNet salary: US$2,500/monthAccommodation and utilities providedTransportation and meal allowanceMedical insuranceAnnual airfareAnnual bonus based on individual and company performanceWork permit providedRelocation to the Caribbean is required.
