About the Role As a Finance Associate, you will step into a high-visibility role centered on asset-based lending (ABL) and complex debt financing. You will be at the forefront of the market, handling sophisticated matters including tech lending (recurring revenue financings), venture lending, and high-profile acquisition and leveraged finance. This role offers the chance to manage intricate transactions from inception to closing while working alongside industry-leading partners.
Key Responsibilities Lead Transactions: Manage and execute complex asset-based and tech lending transactions for diverse institutional lenders and corporate borrowers.
Draft & Negotiate: Prepare and negotiate sophisticated credit agreements, security documents, and ancillary transactional materials.
Strategic Advisory: Provide expert counsel on recurring revenue financings and venture debt structures for high-growth companies.
Project Management: Oversee the closing process for multi-jurisdictional leveraged financings, ensuring seamless execution and technical precision.
Collaborate: Work cross-functionally within a global network to deliver holistic financial solutions for elite clients.
Requirements Experience: 3+ years of transactional finance experience gained within a reputable law firm.
Specialization: Proven track record in asset-based lending; experience in tech or venture lending is highly desirable.
Credentials: Outstanding academic background and JD from an accredited law school.
Technical Skills: Exceptional drafting, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
