Sr Civil Project Manager - Land DevelopmentEmployment Type: Direct HireJob Site: Phoenix AZ, role will start as remote and transition to hybrid as Phoenix office location becomes availableAs a Senior Civil Project Manager within the Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will oversee a range of civil engineering projects from initial concept through completion. This role involves applying your experience across all phases of a project, including field observation, due diligence coordination with authorities, site layout planning, utility and stormwater design, permitting, and responding to inquiries during construction administration. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you will collaborate with Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural teams to develop construction documents. You will also maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout each project. You embody the Core Values of Integrity, Service, Excellence, Innovation, and Inclusion.Responsibilities:Oversee multiple projects and clients at the same time, ensuring timelines are met and effectively communicatedAct as the primary point of contact for clientsManage project financials, including profitability, efficiency, and accounts receivableDevelop and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultantsPlan and manage projects by allocating resources, developing budgets, and maintaining schedules within defined parametersEstablish design criteria and oversee efficient design and plan developmentResolve design challenges using engineering calculations and standard design practicesCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholdersLead, mentor, and develop Project Engineers and Project DesignersFollow QA/QC procedures while identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiencyMaintain and grow client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional workSupport new client pursuitsApply knowledge of constructability and complex design while identifying potential liability concernsPerform project risk assessments, including evaluating potential risks, costs, and probabilitiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering requiredProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred but not required8+ years of Civil Engineering Project Management experience in site/civil production, preferably on commercial projects such as retail, hospitality, and/or fuelingProficiency with MS Office requiredExperience with, or willingness to learn, Civil3D, TR-20, TR-55, HEC-1, HydroCAD, Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, and WaterCAD for site development
