Senior Manager Financial Reporting

Addison Group is partnering with a rapidly growing, publicly traded global leader to identify a Senior Financial Reporting Manager.This highly visible role will serve as a subject matter expert on SEC reporting, technical accounting, and equity-based compensation while partnering closely with Controllership, Legal, Tax, FP&A, Investor Relations, and external auditors to support accurate and compliant financial reporting.Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 2 days in office)Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and filing of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and other SEC filingsManage and mentor the SEC Reporting teamResearch and resolve complex accounting and reporting mattersOversee equity-based compensation, dividends, and EPS reportingLead implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirementsReview XBRL tagging and ensure SEC filing compliancePartner with external auditors and cross-functional teams on reporting mattersDrive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting efficienciesSupport internal controls, statutory reporting, and special projectsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA required8+ years of public accounting and/or SEC reporting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirementsExperience with technical accounting, equity compensation, and financial disclosuresStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with Workiva or similar reporting tools preferredXBRL experience preferredWhy This Role:Opportunity to join a high-growth, industry-leading public companyStrong visibility and cross-functional exposureCollaborative and team-oriented cultureFocus on automation, process improvement, and career developmentCompensation & Benefits:Base salary: $160K–$175K + 25% annual bonusBlue Cross Blue Shield medical coverageLife and disability insuranceComprehensive benefits packageHybrid work schedule (2 days/week in office)
