Financial Reporting Manager

A rapidly scaling, publicly listed company is adding a Financial Reporting Manager to its growing finance organization. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and play a key part in the preparation and review of external reporting deliverables, including periodic filings and related disclosures. Responsibilities span financial statement footnotes, management commentary, digital reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with accounting and legal teams to support accurate and compliant reporting.This position offers strong visibility across leadership and the opportunity to contribute to a complex, evolving reporting function within a high-performance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual external reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and consistencyDraft and maintain financial statement disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standardsSupport interim reporting needs, including earnings materials and supplemental disclosuresManage digital reporting processes, including tagging and quality assurance reviewsMaintain disclosure controls and monitor changes in regulatory guidance and best practicesPerform detailed tie-outs across reports, statements, and supporting documentationPrepare materials for internal review processes and disclosure committeesPartner with accounting teams on the adoption and implementation of new standardsCollaborate with legal stakeholders to ensure alignment across disclosures and regulatory languageSupport special projects and ad hoc reporting initiatives as neededIdeal Candidate Profile5+ years of experience in public accounting with SEC filers or industry experienceCPA highly preferredCompensation (Illinois Pay Transparency)Target base salary range: $120,000 – $130,000Bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package includedMedical, dental, and vision insurance availableFinal compensation will vary based on experience and background
