CNC Threading Operator – Oilfield Couplings

Step into precision: a day in this roleFrom the first machine start-up to the final quality check, you keep production flowing for threaded couplings used across the oil and gas industry. You will run computer-controlled equipment, verify critical dimensions down to thousandths of an inch, and document every step so the team can deliver safe, consistent, high-quality parts.What you will doOperate CNC equipment: Run industrial CNC machines to cut metal to exact dimensions; fine-tune programs for efficiency and part quality.Set up and tool changes: Swap carbide cutting tools using handheld tools and follow written Standard Operating Procedures.Digital interfaces and records: Use computer touch screens, complete accurate measurement logs (written and electronic), and enter data into our electronic database.Inspection and measurement: Check parts using precision instruments (e.g., dial indicators, calipers) capable of measuring to 0.001 inch; apply basic math for inspection calculations.Support operations: Use air-powered tools and handheld wrenches; operate a forklift when required.Safety first: Follow all safety procedures and Hazardous Energy Control Procedures to maintain a safe work environment.Compensation and benefitsStarting pay: $21.00 per hour.Quarterly Incentive Bonus Plan after completion of the probationary period.Comprehensive benefits: Health, Dental, and Life Insurance.401(k) plan with company contribution.Paid Vacation upon completion of probationary period.10 paid holidays.Daily overtime pay.Schedule and work environmentIndustrial schedule with 8–12 hour day and night shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.Overtime is required.Non-climate-controlled industrial setting with varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential exposure to hazardous materials.PPE provided and required at all times (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and boots with metatarsal protection).What you bringHigh School Diploma or GED.Punctuality, consistent attendance, and the ability to work independently.Physical ability to perform manual labor and repetitively lift more than 25 lbs.Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments; familiarity with forklifts and precision inspection tools.1 year of experience preferred.Core competenciesThink: Think Critically and Drive ChangeLead: Develop Talent and CollaborateDo: Empower Performance and Deliver ResultsAbout U.
