Line Cook Prep Cook

Job Description We are looking for a professional Line Cook for a fast casual restaurant, to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. The Line Cook will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.Job Responsibilities:Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPreparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow executive instructionsClean up station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersRequirements:Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep CookUnderstanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar with industry's best practicesJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hourExperience level:2 yearsRestaurant type:Fast casual restaurantShift:6-8 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftWeekly day range:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Cooking: 2 years (Required)Work Location: In person
