The role is responsible for preparing and assembling quality food products in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Cook is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Proven track of providing excellent results, shows persistence and perseverance;Demonstrates care and compassion for people; shows empathy and concern. Able to build and maintain positive team relationships, relates well to diverse people; is approachable;Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment;Follow recipe specifications and portion food products according to company standards;Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions and food safety;Fills and re-stocks front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks;Ensure all prepared food items are weighed, labeled, dated, packaged and rotated according to company standards;Follows procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation and all saved recall transactions;Responsible for personal Cashier Productivity;Takes food orders in person and by telephone;All other duties as assigned.Customer Service:Demonstrates personal Customer Service excellence. Engages with customers always;Improves speed and efficiency of service provided.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:* Valid Food Handlers Card;* Customer Service and retail experience desirable.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
