IP Litigation ParalegalThis role supports a Trial & Appellate Litigation Group with a focus on intellectual property matters, including patent litigation. The paralegal is responsible for managing key aspects of the litigation process, from case organization through trial preparation. Core responsibilities include creating and maintaining case files, overseeing discovery materials, tracking deadlines and court calendars, and preparing legal filings such as motions, briefs, and memoranda. The position also involves cite-checking, proofreading, and assembling exhibits for submissions to federal courts and the International Trade Commission (ITC). Additional duties include conducting legal and factual research using platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw, managing e-filings through systems such as CM/ECF and EDIS, and preparing materials for depositions, hearings, and trials. The paralegal may also attend proceedings and provide on-site support to attorneys.Candidates should have at least three years of litigation paralegal experience, with exposure to IP litigation preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with strong Bluebook and cite-checking skills. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office is required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable under pressure, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently. This hybrid role is based in the Washington, D.C. area and may require travel and overtime.The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
