OverviewMain Street Children's Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Temporary Dental Assistant (3-month assignment) to support our clinical team across our offices in Winter Park and Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient care while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment that ensures the highest level of patient satisfaction. Must be bilingual and fluent in both Spanish and English.Position Overview:As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Apply today to join our mission-driven team!ResponsibilitiesClinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.QualificationsQualifications:* Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant programandOne year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)Must be bilingual and fluent in both Spanish and English.X-Ray certification, requiredEFDA, requiredNitrous Oxide certification is highly recommendedHigh school diploma or equivalentDental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.Legal Disclaimer:We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
