Candidates must be able to visit a Publicis Sapient office for interviews, laptop collection, government-issued ID verification, and occasional onsite requirements for security purposes.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Forward Development Architect to lead data architecture and engineering initiatives for a large-scale healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL, along with proven experience designing scalable data platforms and leading technical teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage data architecture and engineering projects focused on processing large volumes of data using AWS, Azure, Spark, and Databricks.Design and implement scalable data platforms and data products supporting critical business operations.Define data security, governance, and distribution strategies for large-scale data environments.Oversee data platform enhancements, performance improvements, and data availability to meet defined SLAs.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and develop scalable data architecture solutions.Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives and evaluate new technologies and data processing approaches.Provide technical guidance on Azure services, cloud data architecture, and data engineering best practices.Troubleshoot complex data architecture and processing challenges and drive continuous improvement.Lead and mentor data engineering teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and technical development.Guide teams in adopting modern technologies, methodologies, and best practices to deliver business value.Partner with stakeholders and architecture teams to align data solutions with business objectives.Required Skills:8–10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Technical Leadership, or related roles.Strong experience designing and implementing large-scale data platforms.Hands-on experience with both Azure and AWS – mandatory.Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark/PySpark.Strong programming experience with Python.Advanced SQL skills.Experience with cloud-based data processing, ETL/ELT, data platforms, and distributed data architectures.Experience with data security, governance, and access-control strategies.Strong technical leadership and team mentoring experience.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.
