Sales Manager, PA

This role will involve travel all around PA to support the individual AEs in their respective territories.The Role Green Thumbis seeking a talentedSalesManagerto oversee ourgrowingPennsylvaniacannabis program.As aSalesManager, you will be responsibleto ensurewe meet andexceedour distribution targets and revenue growth targets. As aprocessmanageryou willberesponsible formaximizing our sales team potential,influencingand educating our customers, developing sales& productionstrategies,maintainingbudget/salesforecastsandmanagethe overall execution of the sales plan.You thrive in agrowth,gritty environment andaren'tafraid to roll up your sleeves and dive in. This role is best suited for an extrovertedgo-getterwhodoesn'tmind phone calls, driving and ample facetime.You will be in dispensariesofteninteracting with a variety of clientele.Above all, youwill embody Green Thumb'speoplefirst culture.ResponsibilitiesOversee all functions of the sales lifecycle including sales forecasting, direct relationship management and development, negotiation of buying agreements and lead conversion, dealevaluationsand approvalsIn partnership withSales Director, develop annual and quarterly revenue plans, prepare monthly sales reports by product and channel to evaluate brand and productperformanceand develop annual and quarterly sales plans.Ensure stores have proper inventory levels through sales tools, smartcommunicationand in-store visitsUnderstand and provide insightsonsales drivers and recommend new opportunities to drive incremental growthManageestablishedteam of Account Executives(4).Responsible for their development along with meeting Revenue and Margin goals.Partner with Finance and Operations on the following activities: forecasting activities, developing revenue targets,budgetingand developing sales operationsprocessesand compensation plans.Monitor the market toobserveemerging trends and competition.Work with Branding and Marketing teams to develop advertisingstrategyand promotional activities.Qualifications4+ years of outside sales preferably inconsumer packagedgoods (food & beverage, preferred)Knowledge of cannabis industry, regulations, markettrendsand competition highly preferredDemonstrated experience of exceeding sales quotasProven ability to build and execute a sales strategy to generate and develop new businessExperience of P&L and budget managementWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsExperience working in sales management systems (i.e.Salesforce)Highly motivated, self-directed,innovativeand able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, commonsenseand resourcefulnessAdapts and thrives in a demanding,fast-paced environmentPossessesa high levelof critical thinkingOperates witha high levelof professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential informationMust understand andcomply withthe rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green ThumbMust have a solid understanding of theCannabislaws,rules and regulationsand passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.Experience leading and motivating a team.Bachelorsdegree preferredAdditional RequirementsMust passany and allrequired background checksMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust possess valid driver's licenseMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
