Chef de Cuisine

Job Description: Chef de Cuisine We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen of a high-volume, upscale/casual restaurant in the heart of San Francisco. This individual will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to execute exceptional cuisine, maintain elevated operational standards, and cultivate a professional, inspired kitchen culture. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership of all kitchen operations and service execution Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all menu offerings Oversee ordering, inventory management, prep systems, and recipe standardization Train, mentor, and develop the culinary team to uphold high performance expectations Manage labor control, food cost, waste reduction, and overall kitchen efficiency Partner with leadership on menu development, seasonal updates, and creative direction Uphold health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance at all times Foster a positive, disciplined, respectful, and growth-oriented kitchen environment Qualifications Previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Senior Sous Chef, or comparable leadership role Strong foundation in old world cuisines and contemporary technique Demonstrated ability to lead with clear communication, organization, and accountability Proven success working under pressure and maintaining composure during high-volume service Strong work ethic, professional maturity, and commitment to excellence Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $90,000–$100,000/year Performance-based bonus opportunities Health and wellness benefits Employee dining privileges Opportunities for long-term growth within a developing restaurant group Equal Employment Opportunity  More detail about One Haus - San Francisco part of One Haus Recruiting, please visit
