In this role, you will develop and integrate cutting-edge solutions for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and robotics platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Python programming, ArduPilot development, and applying machine learning techniques to enhance autonomy with Python.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize software for UAS and robotics applications using PythonImplement and customize ArduPilot-based flight controllers and autonomous features.Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate sensor data, conduct simulations, and performfield testing.Troubleshoot and refine systems for reliable performance in dynamic environments.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.Equivalent experience is an acceptable substitute.Proven experience in Python and/or general programming for robotics or embedded systems.Strong understanding of machine learning applications in robotics.Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI across diverse areas.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment.Preferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience with UAS/robotics platforms and familiarity with ArduPilot.Experience with flight testing, hardware integration, and performance tuning is a plus.Experience working directly with U.S. military or DoD organizations.
