Sr. Material Specialist

Sr. Material Specialist (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a major EV battery manufacturing company and is seeking\nSr. Material Specialist\n\nMAJOR FUNCTION:\n * Manage daily scheduling of trucks bringing in materials, escalating to\n carriers as needed\n * Escalate grouping or invoicing errors as well as any damage claims upon\n receipt of products\n * Ensure the rest of the team follows processes related to tracking and\n maintaining inventory, escalating issues caused by deviations from\n established processes\n * Oversee logistics and production support, materials, inventory, delivery,\n conveyance, demand analysis, scheduling, and forecast analysis\n * Track KPIs affecting the materials management team\n * Identify and lay out processes for non-standard work and non-conforming\n product\n * Uphold quality standards for finishing product and shipping, including\n identifying defected material and holding and escalating to production\n departments if necessary\n * Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:\n * Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain\n * Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container\n * Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas\n * Perform other duties as assigned
