SAP ILM Technical Architect

Design and own the SAP ILM architecture for BRIM data archiving and retentionDefine archiving strategy, data objects, retention rules, and lifecycle policies aligned with business and compliance requirementsLead ILM configuration and technical design, including object selection, rule assignment, and data flow designWork closely with SAP BRIM, S/4HANA, functional, technical, and BASIS teams to ensure seamless implementationSupport data readiness, mock runs, validation, and production execution of archiving activitiesEnsure adherence to data privacy, legal hold, retention, and audit requirementsIdentify and mitigate technical risks related to data volume, performance, and system stabilityProvide technical leadership and guidance to development and support teamsPrepare and maintain architecture documents, technical designs, and runbooksSupport cutover, go live, and post archiving validation activitiesMandatory Skills & ExperienceStrong hands on experience as an SAP ILM Technical ArchitectProven expertise in SAP ILM architecture design, data archiving, and retention managementSolid understanding of SAP BRIM and SAP S/4HANA data modelsExperience working on large scale archiving or system lifecycle management projectsStrong knowledge of compliance, audit, data privacy, and legal retention requirementsExcellent stakeholder communication and technical leadership skillsPreferred / Secondary SkillsExperience with SAP ILM Store, Retention Management, and Legal HoldExposure to SAP BRIM modules (FICA, CI, Convergent Mediation)Experience working in regulated or audit driven enterprise environmentsAbility to work effectively in onsite offshore delivery modelsExperience & Band FitTypically 10 12+ years of overall SAP experience with deep ILM specialization
