Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk Location: Wapato, WA Pay: $25 per hour The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations with an emphasis on accounts payable processing and accurate journal entry preparation. This role ensures timely invoice processing, maintains organized financial records, and assists with general ledger activities to support month-end and year-end close.Key Responsibilities: Process high-volume accounts payable transactions, including invoice review, coding, and data entryMatch purchase orders, invoices, and receipts; resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerPrepare and post journal entries with accuracy and proper documentationMaintain and reconcile vendor accounts and assist with payment processing (checks, ACH, etc.)Support month-end close by ensuring all AP and journal entries are recorded accuratelyAssist with account reconciliations and financial recordkeepingCommunicate with vendors and internal teams to address questions or issuesQualifications: Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processesExperience with accounts payable and journal entries requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
