Supply Chain Intern

Employment Type: InternshipStart Date: FallDepartment: Supply ChainRole overview:Supply Chain is made up of three teams that include Enterprise Third Party Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Supply Chain Management Operations.  These areas will provide learning and experience around the entire Source to Pay process including third party risk management, contract management and negotiation, procurement, and supplier automation and payment. As a Supply Chain Management Intern, you will be assigned to one of the three Supply Chain teams and assist in supporting a number of critical activities. In addition, you will have exposure to the broader Supply Chain team providing you with a big picture view of how a professional Supply Chain organization operates.Role responsibilities:Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g. supplier risk reviews, supplier sourcing and negotiations, contract processing, supplier payment support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g. identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).Required Education and Experience:Working toward a Bachelor's Degree, Preferred business relevant majors (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance), junior status.Minimum GPA 3.0.Compensation:The compensation for this role is market competitive.About us:We are an HR consultancy firm, and we help candidates match with the potential roles by using an Artificial Intelligence System which is free of cost.
