Position SummaryThe Quoting Specialist is responsible for supporting the quotation process by reviewing incoming RFQs, organizing quote documentation, gathering required information, and preparing initial quote packages for review and submission. This role works closely with the Quote Team Manager and cross-functional teams to help ensure quotes are accurate, organized, and completed within required timelines.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.** **ResponsibilitiesReview incoming RFQs, drawings, specifications, and customer documentationProcess and organize quote requests for internal reviewPrepare initial quote documentation and data entry within ERP systems and spreadsheetsCoordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Sales to gather information needed for quotationsTrack quote status and maintain organized quote recordsAssist with quote revisions, updates, and follow-up activitiesCommunicate professionally with internal teams regarding quote requirements and timelinesSupport the Quote Team Manager with administrative and quoting activities as neededEnsure accuracy and completeness of quote documentation prior to submissionSkills And ExperienceHigh school diploma required; associate degree preferredPrior administrative, customer service, manufacturing, or quoting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelERP experience preferredAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentOther DetailsWork Environment: Office setting with regular interaction with production and warehouse areas.Physical Demands: Role may require occasional walking, standing, and warehouse site visits.Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for extended hours as needed.Location & Travel: Onsite in Milford, CT.
