In this role, you will work directly on expanding the capabilities of ZapAI by integrating it with additional internship platforms that are currently unsupported. This is a unique chance to work on a high-impact project that combines AI, automation, and web scraping.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlatform Integration: Develop and implement solutions to expand ZapAI’s ability to apply to internships on new platforms.Web Scraping & Automation: Use Selenium, Python, and advanced web scraping techniques to ensure ZapAI can interact with various websites effectively.Collaboration: Work closely with Cole, ZapIntern’s Co-Founder, in the early phase of the internship. Attend several Zoom or in-person meetings per week to understand the specific challenges and goals related to ZapAI’s development.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges related to platform compatibility, web scraping, or automation within ZapAI.Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of your development process to ensure continuity and scalability of the integration efforts.Education and SkillsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in Python and Selenium is a must, with a strong background in web scraping.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in virtual and in-person settings.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work independently while staying aligned with project goals and timelines.A passion for AI, automation, and creating innovative solutions.Why Join Us?This unpaid internship offers the chance to directly contribute to the development of ZapAI, an AI tool that could revolutionize how students apply for internships.
