This is a leadership position requiring someone capable of making sound decisions in the field while maintaining the highest level of professionalism..The ideal candidate can confidently walk into a loss, determine the drying strategy, communicate with homeowners, document the project thoroughly, supervise helpers, and ensure the job is completed according to IICRC S500 standards.ResponsibilitiesRespond to emergency lossesPerform inspections and moisture mappingDetermine drying strategySet up and monitor drying equipmentPerform water extractionPerform controlled demolition Install containment and negative air systemsOperate LGR dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA air scrubbers, Injectidry systems, and specialty drying equipmentComplete daily moisture readings and psychrometric documentationRead and interpret thermal imaging HEPA containment installation Negative air setup and Air ScrubbingMold remediation setup Fire and smoke cleanup Odor control procedures Photograph and document all work performedCommunicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, plumbers, adjusters, and project managersMaintain accurate job notesTrain and supervise techniciansMaintain company vehicle and equipmentParticipate in on-call scheduleEnsure all work complies with IICRC S500 standardsRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of professional water mitigation/restoration experience Current IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) CertificationValid driver's license with clean driving recordEligible to drive company vehiclesAble to lift 75+ pounds repeatedlyComfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spacesExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProfessional appearance and attitudeBasic smartphone and tablet proficiencyMust be authorized to work in the United StatesSpanish speaking Preferred QualificationsASD CertificationAMRT CertificationFSRT CertificationOCT Certification Mold remediation experienceFire and smoke restoration experience Biohazard cleanup experience Xactimate knowledgeEncircle experienceCompanyCam experienceThermal imaging experienceHVAC drying experienceInjectidry experienceConstruction or reconstruction experienceWhat Success Looks LikeOur ideal Lead Technician:Shows up on time every day.Takes ownership of every project.Treats customers with professionalism and empathy.Maintains exceptional documentation.Understands psychrometrics and structural drying.Solves problems without constant supervision.
