DevOps Engineer
Overview
In this role you will architect and implement automated build-to-deploy pipelines while shaping scalable, fault-tolerant microservices in a cloud-focused environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to delivery operations-ready platforms and leverage a wide range of CI/CD and configuration tools. This is a hands-on engineering position that emphasizes practical expertise across Linux/UNIX, cloud services, and modern deployment technologies to support high-volume transactional systems. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated build-to-deploy pipelinesBuild and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservicesHands-on work with CI/CD and configuration tools (Jira, Hudson/Jenkins, uDeploy, Puppet)Manage and operate across Linux/UNIX and Windows environmentsWork with AWS and other cloud servicesEngage with tools like GitLab, Stash, Jira, Redmine, Jenkins, Go, Selenium, Chef, Docker, Ansible, Cloud FoundrySupport high-volume transactional systems through cloud implementationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software and infrastructure
Key requirements4-6 years of hands-on experience in 2+ cloud implementations for high-volume transactional systemsProficiency with scripting (Ruby, Perl, CSS, JavaScript, Python, shell)Experience with configuration tools (UCM, SVN, Perforce, GIT)Hands-on AWS experienceDirect experience with the listed tooling (GitLab, Stash, Jira, Redmine, Jenkins, Go, Selenium, Chef, Docker, Ansible, Cloud Foundry)Proven experience building automated deployment modelsExperience with Red Hat/Ubuntu Linux and UNIX-like environmentsStrong understanding of microservices architectureproblem-solving mindsetcollaboration with cross-functional teamsability to work in a fast-paced environmentRubyPerlCSS
