Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the federal disability benefits process. In this meaningful role, you will conduct structured, in-person medical assessments and review electronic health records to ensure accurate, objective documentation for each Veteran.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive, in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
Review and analyze medical documentation via a secure electronic portal.
Accurately document clinical findings and complete required evaluation forms.
Provide clear, evidence-based medical opinions based on assessment results.
Maintain professionalism and empathy in all interactions with Veterans.
Note: This role does not involve treatment, prescribing medications, or determining disability outcomes. Final benefit determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Requirements
Active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
Proficiency with electronic documentation and secure web-based systems.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for reviewing medical records.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Professional demeanor and a compassionate approach to Veteran care.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience conducting medical evaluations or disability assessments.
Familiarity with the VA disability assessment process.
