Restaurant General Manager

DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s profitability and quality goals with adequate performance bonus compensation. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee all aspects of customer service interaction. Back of the house management experience is also essential, as you’ll hire qualified cooks and front staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant experiences. REQUIREMENTS Ensure company policies and proceedures are followed. Optimize profits by controlling cost-of-good & labor costs. Hiring, training and developing new employees. Increasing sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution. Maintain an overall professional management style. Provide leadership and direction to all team members to ensure efficient operation. Ensure food quality and availability. Prepare and present employee reviews. Complete all tasks assigned by General Manager on time. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED 2+ years of Restaurant Management experience preferred. HS degree or equivalent preferred Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must be 21 years of age. Passion for the business and compassion for people. Outstanding leadership and communication skills. Ability to recruit, develop and motivate team members. Must be able to create fun in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
