Business Rules Junior Developer | TELECOMMUTEPosition: ContractWork Location: remote (not west coast)Work Hours: 8:30/9-5:30/6 ET if they take a full hour for lunchInterview Process:Video2 or 3 roundsWill be some technical questionsDescription:This position is expected to collaborate with the appropriate team members in researching existing business processes and business policies to optimize current state business rules.Positions in this function will also author and test rules using Red Hat Process Automation Manager (PAM) in an agile environment.In addition, positions in this function are expected to build and maintain relationships with the Operations teams and work with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements to author the rules in the Rules Engine.Describe the team:1 Business Rules Manager, 1 Business Rules Technical Analyst, 1 Senior Business Rules Developer, 1 Senior Business Rules TesterJob Responsibilities:Review and Analyze business rule requirements to understand the business needsPerform data analysis to determine potential areas where existing business and operational policies and procedures require change and/or where new ones need to be developed and make recommendations for improvement in those areas.Using Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, html, javascript, and Angular, author/code UI screens and write jpa/sqlDesign, author/code using mvel and java, unit test, and implement business rules requirements using the Red Hat PAM tool and/or IntelliJCreate and maintain fact models, process models and decision tablesCreate rules lists and decision trees to support rules/decisionsScenario test using JSON and PostmanConduct code reviews and provide feedbackAble to analyze root-cause issue, problem solve and provide key recommendations for issues and problems encounteredRecognize and analyze gaps between current state and desired outcomeAble to engage functional partners to effectively deliver on each projectCommunicate potential impacts and risks associated with implementing proposed solutions to business partners and relevant StakeholdersAbility to function in a multi-project environment with changing prioritiesRequired Qualifications:1+ years coding and/or rules coding using Object Oriented programming languages like Java, VB.
