Civil Litigation Paralegal

Our client - top-tier criminal defense and civil rights boutique firm on Long Island and NYC - is searching for a Litigation Paralegal to support their team.This civil litigation paralegal in this role would support a senior litigation partner and operate in a high-intensity, case-driven environment focused on complex commercial and civil disputes (some of potentially a high profile nature).Responsibilities:Maintain and organize litigation files (pleadings, correspondence, exhibits)Track deadlines (court, discovery, motions, appeals)Manage electronic document systems (Relativity, NetDocuments, etc.)Draft, revise, and format:Complaints, answers, motions, affirmations, affidavitsDiscovery demands & responsesPerform cite-checking and BluebookingFile documents via NYSCEF (New York e-filing system)Requirements:Minimum 5 years of civil litigation paralegal experienceProficiency with ECF/PACER and NY State court filingsExperience drafting demands and litigation documentsAbility to obtain and manage medical, prison, psychological, and employment recordsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProfessional, compassionate client communicationHighly responsive to attorneys' needs
