Inspector

RK&K is currently hiring a Roadway Inspector to join our CEI team in Tampa Florida. This position is in our Construction Management group which oversee the contractors operations on roadway and bridge construction projects. Essential Functions Assisting the Project Administrator or Senior Inspector in daily roadway inspection Ensuring contractor compliance alongside quality control Performing verification inspections and testing as required These tests and inspections include, but are not limited to: earthwork, asphalt, concrete, bridge and miscellaneous structures, toll facilities, lighting, signalization, environmental compliance, maintenance of traffic, etc. This position receives general supervision and instruction from the Senior Inspector and/or Project AdministratorRequired Skills and Experience High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years' experience in roadway construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in roadway construction inspection Must have the following as required by the scope of work for the project: CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level IPreferred Skills and Experience BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution Previous roadway inspection experienceOther Duties This job description indicates the general nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under ADA).
