General Surgery position at top ranked Public Hospital system in Palm Beach County, FL Client needs someone to cover the General Surgery service at Medical Center and you will get a stipend for thisYear round position Expected to earn 350k range - see notesClient provides 200k stipend per year and you will also get 100% of everything you bill. Current physician earned another 150K additional income the prior year.Also, round at hospital and get a percentageThere are extra financials the client provides ( they will discuss)It's a rural hospital so call is just for emergency surgery and you see post opp consultations there. You can ALSO still have your own practice and still cover the GS service at the hospital; have to be available for emergency and scheduled surgeries but not locked into hospital all day long - just rounds and proceduresYour own practice can be in Wellington or nearbyThe ideal is have your own group but also be available and spend a few hours at hospital doing rounds for patients who have procedures thereMalpractice insurance is not coveredSome days will not be super busy, just a bit of rounding on surgery follow upVery basic proceduresMust live within 30 minutes of hospital"Center is a top-ranked public hospital by America s Essential Hospitals.
