Part-Time Pharmacist/Retired PharmacistsWe are hiring a Part-Time Pharmacist/Retired Pharmacists to serve as coverage support for our primary pharmacist during time off. This flexible role is perfect for a licensed pharmacist seeking supplemental hours while contributing to a mission-driven, patient-centered health center.Responsibility, Skills, and Difficulty of Work:Assists with recognizing the needs and concerns of people within their cultural framework, and maintains constructive relationships in dealing with themUnderstands the Riggs CHC's relationship with the community and maintains positive image and relationshipsSelf-motivationInterprets Riggs CHC's services and policies to patients and families as appropriate.Works independently in the absence of supervisionSelf-motivated and flexible to daily schedule and/or center needsDeals with public and staff, both in person and over the telephone, in tactful and professional manner.Education & Qualifications:Bachelor's or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institutionThree (3) or more years of relatable pharmacy experienceMust be licensed as a registered pharmacist with an unrestricted license in the state of employmentAt least one (1) year of related pharmacy management experience, preferredAbility to work scheduled hours, including weekends and evenings if requiredClean criminal record with no feloniesCurrent CPR certification preferredAbility to read and transcribe pharmaceutical informationStrong assessment and multi-tasking skills required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.Satisfactory completion of medication course.Bilingual especially in Spanish is preferred.Pharmacy management software and computer competency required.
