The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis, with extensive experience using Tableau to create insightful and actionable dashboards and reports. As a Software Tableau Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality visualizations that drive business decisions.This role requires at least a Secret Security Clearance, and primary work location is remote.What you will do:Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision‐making processesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements and translate them into technical specificationsCreate and optimize data models, ensuring data integrity and accuracyPerform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business performanceImplement best practices in data visualization to ensure dashboards are intuitive, user-friendly, and effectively communicate key insightsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards and reportsStay up to date with the latest Tableau features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of visualizationsProvide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use Tableau dashboards and reportsWork closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and availabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Tableau development.What you bringWe require:Active Secret Security clearance5 years' experience designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision‐making processesBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related fieldProven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar roleStrong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau OnlineSolid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databasesExperience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integrationExcellent analytical and problem‐solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‐quality workAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Nice to have:Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikViewKnowledge of programming languages such as Python or RFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
