This role requires hands-on experience in inventory management and a strong ability to communicate inventory positions, flag risks, and support day-to-day operational execution.Job ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain accurate inventory levels across distribution centers and channelsPerform and support inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliations; investigate and resolve variancesMonitor inventory trends to identify potential risks such as shortages, excess stock, and obsolescenceCollaborate with Demand Planning to help align inventory levels with forecasted demand and make allocation decisions with Order Management when need based on Demand Planning.Order Processing & FulfillmentSupport end-to-end order processing to ensure accurate, timely fulfillmentAssist in resolving order discrepancies, allocation issues, and customer-impacting exceptions in partnership with Customer Service/Order EntryAdhere to internal SOPs, SLAs, and customer-specific requirementsCross-Functional CommunicationServe as a reliable point of contact for inventory-related inquiries from Sales, Customer Service/Order Entry, Demand Planning, and Warehouse ControlCommunicate inventory positions, order status, and operational risks clearly and in a timely mannerSupport alignment across teams on priorities, service levels, and day-to-day executionKPI Reporting & Operational DataTrack and report inventory KPIs including inventory turns, fill rate, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and backordersPrepare accurate operational reports and summaries for the operations team and leadershipMaintain data accuracy and consistency across ERP, WMS, and reporting systemsVendor & Shipment CoordinationCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments with vendors, carriers, and warehouse teamsTrack vendor performance related to lead times, fill rates, and shipment accuracyCommunicate shipment status, delays, and risks to relevant internal stakeholdersProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, streamline workflows, and reduce operational inefficienciesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist in developing or updating SOPsRequiredJob RequirementsBachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)4+ years of experience in an inventory, operations, supply chain, or logistics roleHands-on experience with inventory management and order processingClear and effective communication skills with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse operationsProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a problem-solving mindsetPreferredExperience working with vendors, carriers, and/or 3PL partnersFamiliarity with KPI reporting or dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience in a high-volume, fast-paced operational environmentCore CompetenciesInventory accuracy and lifecycle managementCross-functional communication and collaborationData integrity and attention to detailOrder fulfillment and operational supportProcess awareness and continuous improvement mindsetWe are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
