Job Description Your Day-to-Day ImpactYou'll play a vital role in our (department) team by:Assist in performing setups.Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and offset adjustments as neededSelect and load part programs, and change inserts and toolingPerform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including checking and replenishing cooling fluids and making necessary adjustments (CCLs)Operate CNC lathe in accordance with Vallourec operating instructions. Use precision gages, micrometers, and other applicable measurement instruments to validate compliance of product.Always maximize efficiency and productivityResponsible for quality of work meeting all requirementsFollow all Company work instructions, specifications, and requirementsFollow all Company Rules, Procedures and PoliciesAlways place Safety first and follow all Company Safety RulesAny other duties as assignedMust read, write, and communicate in the English languageWhat You BringWe're looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves: Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNC Operator in previous job/or 1 year experience as Production Operator.Must have a good understanding of machine shop operations and processes.Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.Ability to understand and execute instructions well.Must read, write, and communicate in the English language.What You'll GainGet paid for what you know - and earn more as you learn more.
