A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: - Work 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days per week - 10-12 days of call required in 6 weeks - 2 years of experience required - Arizona license and BLS certification required - Floating is required when needed - No block schedule options available - No 48-hour guarantee option - Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care - Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel - Ensure supplies availability and timeliness of surgical cases - Communicate with patient families - Update physician preference cards - Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures - Supervise personnel delivering patient care - Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies - Use SurgiNet (Cerner) EMR system - Scrub colors provided by facility Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive surgical department that provides advanced operating room services with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
