O.R. Technician (CST) - Contract

Position: Certified Surgical Technician OR (L&D) Location: New York, NY 10019 Contract Duration: 60 Days Shift: Night Shift 5x8 Hours (11:00 PM 7:15 AM) (Schedule may vary)Requirements:L&D Operating Room experience REQUIREDCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) REQUIRED (must meet accreditation requirements review facility matrix)High School Diploma REQUIREDOperating Room / Surgical scrub experience preferredKey Responsibilities:Perform scrub duties during surgical procedures following strict aseptic techniquePrepare and maintain sterile instruments and surgical suppliesAssist surgeons by anticipating needs for instruments, sutures, sponges, and equipmentMaintain accurate counts of instruments, needles, and sponges with circulating nurseAssist with patient positioning, draping, and transferSupport RN with circulating duties and OR preparationEnsure proper handling of surgical specimens and sterile environment maintenanceAssist in cleaning, equipment reprocessing, and room turnoverAdditional Notes:Night shift schedule may vary depending on surgical casesL&D OR experience is mandatory for submissionCST certification must meet facility accreditation guidelinesCandidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment and supporting multiple procedures
