The gap between a diagnosis and a first appointment often comes down to one thing: whether the right people know we exist.That's where you come in.As Referral Development Manager, you'll build the relationships — with pediatricians, schools, diagnosing clinics, and community partners — that close that gap. You'll own a territory, run your own schedule, and be measured on outcomes. The work is field-based, in person relationship-driven, and genuinely matters.We're growing nationally. The markets we open now will define who we are in five years.What you'll doDevelop and convert referral sources across physicians, schools, therapists, hospitals, clinics, and diagnosing providersSpend ~75% of your week in the field — office visits, drop-bys, in-person follow-upsMap your territory, plan your routes, hit activity targets, and deliver measurable referral volumePartner with intake, clinical, and recruiting teams to match referrals with capacityHost lunch-and-learns, presentations, and community eventsTrack everything in CRM and report results, insights, and market intel to leadershipHelp build the repeatable outreach playbook we'll roll out across new marketsWhat we're looking forOutside sales experience, ideally in healthcare (home health, hospice, SNF, pharma, medical devices, therapy services, DME)A real hunter mindset — you're energized by cold calls, walk-ins, and building from zeroComfort with KPIs, quotas, and being measured on outcomesStrategic thinking — you don't just work a route, you target the highest-value sourcesStrong relationship-building instincts and genuine care for the missionWhy Golden Steps ABAThe work is real.
