We’re proud winners of the Tech & Learning Best of Show Award! 🎉 Our agentic AI-powered platform helps PreK–12 educators and students co-create inclusive, standards-aligned, future-ready curriculum.POSITION OVERVIEWAs a Sales Representative for Head Start & In-Kind Programs, you’ll introduce Learning Genie’s purpose-built suite of Head Start tools to grantees, Early Head Start programs, and community action agencies across the US. You’ll show program directors how our Digital In-Kind Tool simplifies non-federal share tracking, how our DRDP Assessment module streamlines child development documentation, and how our Family Engagement platform strengthens the home-to-school connection — all while keeping programs fully compliant with federal requirements.This role demands someone who truly knows the Head Start world. You need to understand how grantees operate, what federal compliance looks like from the inside, and how to speak the language of program directors, education coordinators, and family service workers.Industry background required: Candidates without direct experience in Head Start, Early Head Start, or federally funded early childhood programs will not be considered.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAMIdentify and develop relationships with Head Start and Early Head Start grantees, community action agencies, and program directors nationwideDemo Learning Genie’s Head Start suite: Digital In-Kind Tool, DRDP Assessment, Family Engagement, and Attendance & Daily Health ChecksEducate prospects on how Learning Genie qualifies as an in-kind (non-federal share) contribution under federal guidelinesClearly communicate how the platform supports compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and ELOF frameworksManage the full sales cycle from outreach through contract executionMaintain accurate pipeline and activity records in CRM systemsAttend National Head Start Association conferences, regional trainings, and grantee conveningsMeet and exceed quarterly sales and partnership targetsWHY WE GET EXCITED ABOUT YOU3+ years of experience in sales, outreach, or program development within Head Start, Early Head Start, or federally funded early childhood programs — industry background is requiredDeep familiarity with Head Start Performance Standards, ELOF, in-kind/non-federal share rules, and federal grant complianceWorking knowledge of the DRDP assessment framework and early childhood documentation requirementsPrior experience as a Head Start program director, education coordinator, family service worker, or similar role is a strong plusExisting network within the National Head Start Association or regional Head Start networks is highly valuedExperience working with or selling to nonprofit or government-funded program clientsComfortable navigating complex institutional buying processes with long decision cyclesAI-driven mindset and openness to learning and demonstrating EdTech toolsProficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)Self-motivated and comfortable managing a national territory independentlyBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Business, or a related field (preferred)OUR OFFERINGCompetitive compensation package tailored to your experience100% remote work position40-hour work week, Monday–Friday (Pacific Standard Time)Career development opportunities within a fast-growing EdTech and early childhood tech companyReasons you might NOT be a good fit:If you desire a daily routine in your job and are not comfortable with a fast-paced and continuous learning environmentIf you get easily discouraged when things don't work out as plannedIf you don’t enjoy interacting with peopleIf you are not excited about taking up challenges to excelIf you are not passionate about social impact
