Engineering Technician

Job Title: Engineering Technician Client: Aerospace Industry Duration: 6 Months Location: Oldsmar, FL 34677 Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support to shop floor operations • Work with operations lead, operators, engineers, and maintenance teams • Improve throughput and quality in grinding department • Develop OEE tracking and reporting • Reduce scrap and rework through process control • Minimize turnaround time and inventory • Reduce changeover times and batch sizes • Improve 5S score in department • Measure and improve OEE with 85% target • Assist in training new operators • Develop operator training programs Must Have • Ability to speak and listen effectively in English • Ability to read and understand written instructions • Ability to write complete sentences in English • Ability to follow verbal and written directions Nice to Have • Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environment • Experience with continuous improvement or OEE tracking • Experience working with shop floor teams Role Scope • Supports grinding department operations • Works with cross-functional manufacturing teams • Drives throughput and quality improvements • Supports training and standardization • Focuses on operational efficiency Education • High school diploma or equivalent preferred #ZR
