Laser Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintain clean working environments, according toclean room standards. Adjust or maintain equipment, such as lasers,laser systems, microscopes, oscilloscopes, pulse generators, powermeters, beam analyzers, or energy measurement devices. Set up or operateassembly or processing equipment, such as lasers, cameras, die bonders,wire bonders, dispensers, reflow ovens, soldering irons, die shears,wire pull testers, temperature or humidity chambers, or optical spectrumanalyzers. Document procedures, such as calibration of optical or fiberoptic equipment. Perform diagnostic analyses of processing steps, usinganalytical or metrological tools, such as microscopy, profilometry, orellipsometry devices. Assemble fiber optical, optoelectronic, orfree-space optics components, subcomponents, assemblies, orsubassemblies. Set up or operate prototype or test apparatus, such ascontrol consoles, collimators, recording equipment, or cables. Test orperform failure analysis for optomechanical or optoelectrical products,according to test plans. Assemble or adjust parts or related electricalunits of prototypes to prepare for testing. Assemble components ofenergy-efficient optical communications systems involving photonicswitches, optical backplanes, or optoelectronic interfaces. Monitorinventory levels and order supplies as necessary. \*\*\*\*\* OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: \* Previous experience troubleshootingand repairing industrial fiber laser metal cutting machines \* Strongunderstanding of mechanical, electro-mechanical, servo-electric,electrical, and hydraulic control systems \* Experience with Preciteccutting heads or similar systems preferred \* Working knowledge of CNCcontrols and their related applications \* Ability to read, understand,and draft electrical schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings \*Experience using multimeters and oscilloscopes; CAD/CAM experience is aplus \* Proven ability to troubleshoot issues from initial descriptionthrough diagnosis and repair \* Technical training or certification in arelated field preferred \* Ability to work independently whilemaintaining a high-performance standard \* Strong customer service andcommunication skills rooted in professionalism and authenticity \* Validdriver\'s license with a good driving record \* Availability to workMondayFriday, with occasional overtime and overnight travel \*\*\*\*\*APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Mail a Rsum: 8397 N. 87th Street Milwaukee, WI53224 E-Mail a Rsum: Office@mac-tech.com Apply Online: www.mac-tech.com
