Calibration Technician

DescriptionThe Calibration Technician is responsible for testing and measuring accuracy of electrical inspection, measurement, andtest equipment (IMTE) in the company Milwaukee, WI facility.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Performing calibration of electrical test and mechanical equipment as scheduled or as required and maintain records ofcalibration.- Safely calibrating all electrical equipment by reading and understanding the power supplies and/or schematics.- Investigating and documenting IMTE found out of specification/calibration/tolerance.- Maintaining calibration schedules and records in PC Toolcrib.- Inspecting parts and equipment to drawing or specification ensuring tolerances are maintained using appropriateinspection tools and following approved inspection criteria.- Providing process improvement feedback to management regarding inspection methods as needed.- Participating in the company Operations Management System, especially 5S and Continuous Improvement initiatives.Qualifications- A.S. in Electronic Technology or equivalent preferred.- Ability to read schematics, understand power supplies, and safely calibrate electrical equipment.- Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry.- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, procedures, and equipment manuals.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, anddecimals.- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.- Prior evidence of successful participation on work teams where combined contribution, collaboration, and results wereexpected.- Demonstrated ability with common computer tools such as word processing, spreadsheet, and web-based applications.- Experience working with calibration software and SAP, preferred.- Work experience where attention to detail and personal accountability were critical to success.- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills, customer focus, and professionalism.- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and continuous improvement mindset.- Demonstrates strong safety mindset with emphasis on pre-task planning, safety procedures (i.e. Lockout Tagout), and
