Platform Engineer (Azure / DevOps)Experience: 5–7 years Location: Cincinnati (Onsite preferred) or Nearshore CanadaRole SummaryWe are seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud platforms with a strong focus on Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation. This role supports application teams by enabling reliable, secure, and efficient cloud-native environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AzureImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (MANDATORY)Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application and platform deploymentsManage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS experience required)Support platform services including cloud storage, networking, and securityEnable CRUD-based service deployments and integrationsPartner with DevOps, application, and SRE teams to improve reliability and delivery speedTroubleshoot platform, pipeline, and deployment issues across environmentsRequired Skills & Experience5–7 years of experience as a Platform / DevOps / Cloud EngineerStrong hands-on experience with Azure CloudTerraform (must-have, hands-on production experience)CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)Kubernetes & container platforms (EKS required; AKS is a plus)Experience with cloud storage, networking, and IAM conceptsWorking knowledge of CRUD-based APIs/servicesScripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)Nice to HaveMulti-cloud exposure (AWS + Azure)Helm, GitOps, or ArgoCD experienceObservability and monitoring toolsSecurity and compliance exposure
