Job DescriptionPrepare detailed cost estimates for property construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project scope. Analyze project specifications and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to determine project requirements. Develop and maintain project budgets, identifying potential cost-saving measures where applicable. Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts to align with project goals. Monitor project progress and update cost estimates as needed to reflect changes in scope or materials. Provide regular cost reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with financial goals. Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to ensure competitive and accurate estimates. Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with local regulations and codes in New York.

The Successful ApplicantA successful Property Construction Estimator should have:
Experience in preparing detailed construction cost estimates for property projects.
A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations specific to Palm Beach County.
