In this role, you will support the accounting department by analyzing financial information, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments, preparing payroll, and other essential accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong mathematical skills and previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the accuracy of charges and paymentsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developmentsEnter financial data and transactionsAnalyze budgets and other financial informationReconcile bank statementsPrepare financial reports and statementsVerify the accuracy of transactions that have been enteredProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableCreate accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulationsProcess payrollQualificationsBachelors degree in accounting or a related fieldPrevious experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar positionKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
