Accounting Manager

Job Description The Accounting Manager is a key contributor within the corporate accounting function, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, sound accounting practices, and meaningful financial analysis. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support informed business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Direct the monthly close process, including review of departmental expenses and preparation of supporting documentation for financial statements.Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff, promoting professional growth and continuous improvement.Serve as the primary liaison for the annual external audit, coordinating schedules, documentation, and responses.Establish, refine, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight, guidance, and analytical support.Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor&#39;s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.Active CPA license required.At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Proven analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Cynthia MorrisBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
