Human Resources Coordinator
Responsible for performing human resources functions to include marketing job opening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee retention. Must represent the agency in a professional manner at all times and demonstrate the following characteristics: excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with a wide range of people; excellent customer service with all internal and external customers; communicate effectively verbally and in writing to multiple levels of staff and stakeholders; understand the importance of urgency and accuracy; and be able to adapt to changing work conditions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED
At least 18 years of age
Possess a valid driver\'s license
Excellent driving record
Ability to pass background screening
Ability to pass drug screening
Possess a working telephone (this requirement reflects the fact that many positions rely on a timekeeping application to record work hours)
Must be able to type with speed and accuracy
Reliable transportation
Five years of experience in human resources. Bachelor\'s degree in a related field may substitute for experience.
Moderate experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Experience with public speaking preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to read, write, and speak English well
Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various office situations including crisis situations in a calm and professional manner
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel
Have use of arms, hands, and fingers
Lift up to 25 lbs.
Walk, stand and/or sit for at least eight hours a day
