More information on these services can be found on our website at www.AndesaServices.com.Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver software implementation and development project(s) or program(s) that span across single or multiple departments/clients. This role will manage resources, schedules, and financials for several major initiatives simultaneously while adhering to SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. The Project Manager has the authority to run the project(s) or program(s) on a day to day basis and is responsible for ensuring that quality deliverables are produced within the specified constraints of time and cost. They will possess knowledge of the larger landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking project health, staying alert for risks, and resolving issues as they arise. The Project Manager will also contribute to process improvement initiatives that relate to improving project delivery.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of several major projects or programs of related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectivesUnderstand, respect, and address interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs; prioritize efforts in coordination with managementIdentify and request staffing needs for project teams of 5–25 members in coordination with resources and managersDevelop trusted advisor relationships with project and program leaders/stakeholdersProvide clear and concise status reporting of milestones, deliverables, dependencies, decisions, risks, and issues to various audiences, including leadershipCollaborate with project teams to identify and analyze impacts of changes to business requirements and scope; communicate and plan for approved project change ordersMonitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverablesManage risk & quality as it impacts projects, including implications to clients and internal teamsProvide leadership by motivating and guiding team members to meet goals and adhere to responsibilities and milestonesPlan for and manage smooth handoff of projects to appropriate business areas/clients, including training provisions when neededEnsure adherence to the SDLC from discovery/initiation through implementationMaintain a client‑service approach and uphold company valuesEnsure consistent use of project management standards, templates, and documentationFacilitate cross‑departmental collaboration to remove roadblocks and maintain project momentumPartner with product, engineering, and operations to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and resource allocationSecondary ResponsibilitiesParticipate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature project and program management capabilitiesResearch best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark metrics and apply continuous improvement disciplinesParticipate in and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by key stakeholdersRepresent and support the project management team on corporate change management initiativesParticipate in team and company meetings and activitiesContribute to knowledge‑sharing by documenting lessons learned and promoting best practices across teamsPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesHands‑on project management experience on large, complex, and interdependent initiativesProven experience managing software implementation and development projects/programs in a SaaS environmentAdvanced understanding of project and program management practices and methodologiesAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft project management tools such as MS Project, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel for planning, collaboration, documentation, and reportingStrong understanding of the life and annuity space, including products, policy administration processes, and regulatory considerationsProficient leadership skills include motivating teams, active listening, decision making, and influencing othersExtensive understanding of the SDLC and its key control pointsAbility to foster innovation, creativity, and continuous improvementSkilled at leading, coaching, mentoring, and coordinating groups by promoting collaboration, empowering team members, mediating conflict, and evaluating performanceAbility to negotiate with integrity in areas such as resource needs, schedule management, scope management, and risk managementExpertise in Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid project management methodologiesDemonstrated expertise in Jira and Confluence, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and executive‑level presentationsStrong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑focused communicationSkilled at managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environmentExpertise in various Project Management methodologies (ex. Hours are flexible within core business hours. This position is fully remote reporting out of our office in Allentown, PA.
