The role focuses on developing and optimizing the Calypso-based front-office trading system, ensuring low-latency performance and seamless integration with downstream risk and settlement systems.Responsibilities: Configuring and customizing the Calypso platform Writing trade lifecycle workflows Building interfaces with external systems Collaborating closely with quantitative analysts, traders, and operations teams to implement new product types and regulatory changesRequirements: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience 3+ years of hands-on Calypso development experience, including trade lifecycle, workflow, and reporting Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and SQL (Oracle preferred) Experience with Calypso APIs, including the Calypso SDK and trade event handlers Knowledge of fixed income, derivatives, or FX products and their trade lifecycles Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production trading environment Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration with traders and quants Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldRequired Skills: Calypso, Java, Oracle, SQL, Git, CI/CD, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Trade LifecyclePreferred Skills: Kafka, MQ Series, Python, Agile Methodologies, Risk Management SystemsExperience: 8-10 yearsEducation: Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
