If Accountant sounds like something you would be interested in, and you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now!**Responsibilities for an Accountant include but are not limited to:**+ Apply incoming cash including lockbox payments, manual checks, wires, ACH, and EFT using established accounting systems and tools+ Post entries into the system of record and maintain accurate vendor accounts, including preparing vendor payment reporting+ Perform imaging backup maintenance to ensure document integrity, including journal entry backups and supporting documentation+ Conduct research on unapplied cash and open items within suspense accounts; work independently and communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels**Candidates for Accountant must meet the following requirements to be considered:**+ 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or related accounting functions+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and logical research ability+ Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with report writing tools+ Ability to work independently and make decisions; basic accounting knowledge is required**Desired Skills:**Database/data warehouse knowledge (TOAD, Tableau, Microsoft Access); leasing industry experience preferred.**What's in this Accountant position for you?**+ Pay: $27.96/hour+ Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM+ Assignment Length: 12-Month Assignment+ Weekly paycheck+ Dedicated Onboarding Specialist & Recruiter+ Access to Adecco's Aspire Academy (https://www.adecco.com/en-us/employers/about-us/programs-partnerships/aspire-academy) with thousands of free upskilling coursesThis Accountant position is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
