Snowflake Developer

Location: Remote / C2CWe are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform. This is a remote role requiring strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop data warehouse solutions using Snowflake. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, or orchestration tools (ADF, Airflow, etc.).Create and optimize Snowflake objects (databases, schemas, tables, views, streams, tasks).Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and UDFs. Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, Avro).Implement performance tuning and query optimization for Snowflake workloads. Automate data ingestion using Snowpipe and third-party integrations. Implement data security, access control (RBAC), and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Participate in data migration from on-premises systems or other cloud data warehouses to Snowflake. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience: 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 5+ years hands-on Snowflake experience. Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts. Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, DBT, ADF, etc.).Experience with Snowflake features: micro-partitioning, zero-copy cloning, time travel, tasks, streams, and resource monitors. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and storage (S3, Blob, GCS).Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages. Understanding of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema) and data warehouse concepts. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices is a plus. Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Snowflake SnowPro certification. Experience with semi-structured data and real-time data streaming. Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for analytics.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
