Teradata Developer

Job Summary: We are looking for skilled Teradata SQL Developers with strong expertise in Teradata SQL, query performance optimization, data warehousing, and database migration. The ideal candidates will have experience developing and optimizing complex SQL queries, supporting enterprise data warehouse environments, and contributing to data migration initiatives while ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain complex SQL queries, scripts, and database objects using Teradata SQL.Analyze and optimize SQL queries to improve performance, reduce execution time, and enhance resource utilization. Work with large-scale enterprise data warehouses, supporting data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and reporting requirements. Participate in database and data warehouse migration projects, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and performance testing. Troubleshoot SQL issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement appropriate optimization techniques. Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, business analysts, and other technical teams to deliver data solutions. Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and compliance with established data standards. Prepare technical documentation for SQL logic, data flows, migration processes, and optimization activities.

Required Skills and Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL and complex query development. Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and query optimization. Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and large-scale data environments. Experience working on database or data warehouse migration projects. Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
